Expect two flagship LGs in the next year. The LG V40 ThinQ will come first, likely arriving this autumn, while the LG G8 ThinQ will probably arrive at MWC in February 2019.

The V40 (pictured) could be one of the first smartphones to run the new Android Poperating system, given that the final release should be out mid-August. It will likely have a 6.1in 4K 18.5:9 OLED screen and is tipped to come with five cameras. Other specs will almost certainly include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU, 6- or 8GB of RAM and at least 64GB of storage (with microSD support).

The LG G8, meanwhile, is going to be a competitor to the Galaxy S10, and for that reason LG is going to need to seriously up its game. It's probable that it will also go down the in-display fingerprint sensor and all-screen front route, potentially also with a triple-camera arrangement at the rear.
